About the Food Pantries

FISH operates client-choice food pantries across Kittitas County, including the Ellensburg Pantry, the Kittitas Mobile Pantry, and the Roslyn Mobile Pantry. These pantries offer a wide variety of foods from government programs, local grocers, restaurants, farms, and community donations—giving families the dignity of choosing the items that work best for them.

As the central hub, the FISH Food Bank also channels government food and funding to partner pantries, allowing them to focus on directly serving their communities. These partners include:

Who can shop at the FISH Pantries?

Everyone is welcome at the FISH Food Pantry — no income limits, no restrictions. You can shop twice a month for the foods your family needs. Registration is optional and always private. If you choose not to register, you’ll still have plenty of non-government food to choose from.

Good nutrition is an integral part of leading a healthy lifestyle. A well-fed child is more likely to stay focused and find success in school. Good nutrition in adults prevents serious diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, stroke, some cancers, and osteoporosis in adults. Our older neighbors are not only less likely to suffer those diseases, but their overall health and stamina will also improve and allow them to remain independent longer with a nutritious and varied diet.

The FISH Food Pantry in Ellensburg makes nutritious food available five days a week. Our Mobile Pantry brings food resources to underserved areas of Kittitas County including Roslyn and Kittitas. The foods available through any of our distribution points include fresh produce, dairy, deli, and bakery items as well as frozen meat, and shelf stable pantry staples.

The average FISH client takes home 85-100 pounds of food each visit!
