Position: Basic Foods and CSFP Coordinator
Full-Time/Non-Exempt
The pay range is $20-24/hour with an additional $$2/hour bilingual differential for Spanish-speaking candidates.

Position Summary:
The Basic Foods and CSFP Coordinator at FISH is a dual-role position responsible for promoting, enrolling participants, and managing administrative tasks for both the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program
(SNAP) and the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). This role plays a vital part in ensuring that eligible community members have access to nutritional support and supplemental food assistance programs.
Responsibilities:
 Promote, qualify, and register eligible participants for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
 Establish annual recruitment and education goals for SNAP, aimed at informing Kittitas County residents about its benefits.
 Innovatively reach new clients and educate the community about SNAP and CSFP.
 Conduct public speaking engagements to diverse groups, raising awareness about SNAP and CSFP.
 Travel within Kittitas County for presentations, utilizing the organization’s vehicle or personal auto with mileage reimbursement.
 Identify, register, and document eligible individuals for the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP).
 Prepare monthly reports and billing related to CSFP distribution and activities.
 Prepare and file monthly reports and billing related to Basic Food promotional activities.
 Collaborate with various teams to streamline participant outreach and enrollment efforts.
 Maintain accurate records of participant information, program activities, and compliance.
Qualifications:
 Passion for addressing food insecurity and enhancing the well-being of community members.
 Strong organizational and administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail.
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging diverse audiences and providing exceptional customer service.
 Ability to deliver impactful public speeches and presentations.
 Familiarity with federal nutrition assistance programs, particularly SNAP and CSFP, is advantageous.
 Previous experience in program coordination, outreach, or social services is beneficial.
 Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
