Enrollment for the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) begins each May. This program provides eligible older adults with $80 in benefits to spend on fresh fruits, vegetables, honey, and herbs at participating farmers markets, farm stands, and farm stores across Washington State.
Important Dates
- Market season: June 1 – October 31
- Card activation: Please allow up to one week after you receive your benefit card before it can be used. (Cards cannot be used the same day they are issued.)
How to Apply
- Apply in person at Open Table (12:00–2:00 pm — check in with Stacey in the office)
- Or apply at the Farmers Market when the FISH booth is present
- Benefits are limited and distributed first-come, first-served
- Applications must be completed each year
- Proxy applications are available if someone else will shop on your behalf

Age:
- 60 years or older
- 55+ if Native American or Alaska Native
Residency:
- Must live in Washington State
Income (2026):
- $29,526 Annual or $2,461 Monthly Income for 1 person
- $40,034 Annual or $3,337 Monthly Income for 2 people
