Krazy for KC Kids

There are so many great summer programs for Kittitas County kids this year! FISH is working hard to bring summer fun into the lives of kids who need it. Check out the programs below, go to their pages and learn more about them and donate today if you can!

Picnic in the Park

This is a wonderful classic. FISH facilitates the USDA Summer Meals program, and adds a touch more. Not only are there a record eight places you can bring your kids to have a free lunch (18 and younger only). In addition to the tasty goodness, there will be cool activities for kids to do after lunch. All the details are here!

KERNEL is a great new program that FISH is happy to be a part of. Working with the Ellensburg Farmer’s Market and Kittitas County Public Health, FISH will have a booth at the Market every Saturday that school is out. Kids will learn about nutrition, gardening and exercise. Want to hear more? Check it out here!

Birthday Party in a Bag

This summer FISH is introducing something new! Birthday Bags. Inside are all the things you need to hold a birthday party – even a little present from FISH! These are for our existing customers aged 1 – 10 within two weeks of their birthday. They are free for pick up at FISH during a distribution time.

Back to School Night

At the end of the summer comes school. Lots of kids look forward to the return of interesting times and get excited over their school supplies. A lot of FISH’s kids, though, cannot afford any or all of their school supplies, or are forced to be cheap supplies that will not last. Once again on August 29th, FISH will have new, good school supplies for our established clients.
