Healthy Table is a meal delivery service created in partnership with FISH’s Open Table and the healthcare community. Initially funded by Molina Healthcare as a pilot program, it introduced the Food is Medicine model to Kittitas County. Targeting out-of-control hypertension and diabetes, the pilot provided 14 medically tailored meals each week to patients referred by Community Health of Central Washington.
Open Table’s Executive Chef creates the menus focusing on locally sourced ingredients. FISH’s Registered Dietician approves their nutritional value. The goal is to build this program into a vital part of the continuum of care in Central Washington.
Who is eligible
Community Health of Central Washington can refer any patient to Healthy Table. However, the program is also for anyone who wants to improve their health or simply seeks the convenience of not having to shop and prepare healthy, fresh meals for themselves!
